MOMYS Plus!

Your webmaster family, Jim and Mary Sturges, have been providing www.momys.com with all of its features -- chat, bulletin boards, user-administered photo galleries (MOMYSplus only), and information archives -- advertising-free and free to the user.

Since registering the site in 1999, we've only asked for contributions once, to help pay for the setup costs. It has always been important to us that www.MOMYS.com, and The MOMYS Digest, be free to use -- as parents of eight children ourselves, we understand that the people who need the support that MOMYS provides are often the people who can least afford to pay!

The website requires monthly hosting fees and annual re-registrations, which we have gladly paid. As we've added the various features mentioned above (the website software upgrades, chat, bulletin boards, the photo gallery, etc.), we have paid the software license fees and donated the considerable amounts of time required to install, customize, and update them, while providing technical support as time has allowed.

As the Lord has graciously added arrows to the Sturges Family quiver, we found ourselves unable keep up with the growing demands of the website in both dollars and time. Rather than ask subscribers and site users for contributions, or adding advertising (ugh) to the site, we had simply cut way back on the time we devoted to the site.

We were loathe to ask for flat-out contributions and we dislike advertising; yet we would like for there to be a way for the MOMYS to help support the financial costs of running this site, and to allow us to be able to provide more of our time to helping with technical problems, updating content, and adding more features.

Since that time we created the MOMYSplus subscription for contributors of $12!
